Dublin, Ohio, July 26, 2013 — Cardinal Health executives will highlight forward-thinking supply chain solutions for the evolving healthcare landscape at the Association for Healthcare Resource and Materials Management (AHRMM) annual conference in San Diego July 28 – 31.
Steve Inacker, president, Hospital Sales and Services at Cardinal Health will co-present at one of the conference’s learning sessions. The session will help supply chain professionals understand major contributors to pricing inaccuracies and discuss alternatives to industry-wide practices that lead to and exacerbate them.
In a panel presentation set for Wednesday, July 31, Cardinal Health Vice President of Ethics and Compliance Ed Daniels will be among presenters sharing best practices related to business continuity that may be applied to emergency management plans. Using Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts as an example, the co-panelists will describe the actions they took to ensure continuity of the health care supply chain and coordinate response activities.
Cardinal Health is also the sponsor of the AHRMM Award for Healthcare Supply Chain Innovation, which recognizes a health care organization and team for implementing leading innovation. The award will be presented by Steve Inacker on Monday, July 29, at the opening general session of the annual conference.
